Ministry Sync compatability 1/29/2009 4:48:34 PM   (Total replies: 2)
We used Ministry Sync for our Banquet this past year and loved the program because of its ability to seat guests as well as its e-mail capability. We were able to send invitations, confirmations, and reminders with special graphics via e-mail. We were also able to send a link to our table captains which allowed them the ability to register their guests online. The one thing we didn't like about the program was that we were not able to upload or download information from your program to ...

Bulk Mail Report & Labels 1/30/2009 1:35:42 PM   (Total replies: 0)
We currently are using another program to print our mailing list labels because eKyros does not provide a Bulk Mail Report or separate the label zip codes in the way the post office requires. This means that any time we change general information for donors (ie. name, address, etc.) we also must make the same changes in another program. This creates double the work as well as discrepencies in the two programs because it is easy to make mistakes. Are there any plans to incorporate "Bulk Mail" ...

Hi Margie, Thank you for your reply, but that's not what I'm trying to do. I do know how to print labels, reports, and letters in zip code order with your software. The post office has special rules about how the zip codes must be sorted for the mail to be sent via bulk rate. The Newsletter Label program I am currently using prints in zip code order plus...(1) It provides a summary list of zip codes. For example, all the 5 digit zips are together, all the 3 digit zips are in together, ...

Donar Searches/Mail Merge 8/24/2006 11:05:04 AM   (Total replies: 1)
Please consider the following changes to your program: (1) I need to be able to mail merge a letter for contributors who gave gifts during a particular time frame. If the program is capable of doing it, I don't see it. (2) I also need a salutation space. When the January update came out, that space was changed to "Label Name" which is also a valuable field, but it doesn't help me merge letters to "John & Mary". (3) It would also be beneficial to merge actual gift amounts into a letter. ...

Dear Brian, What will happen to the Spouse's name on the form? Would it be possible to use the first name and the spouse's name to complete the "DearName" field? I don't quite understand why you have a donar listed as Mr. & Mrs. John & Mary Doe and then have a field for "male" or "female". The program I used to use had the husband listed as "head of household" and then had the capability of adding family members such as "spouse, children, or other (ie. adult parent living with the family)". ...

Yes that makes sense. Thanks for your quick replies! One final question: Have you considered adding a bulk mail search/report for donars that complies with the Post Office? This would be very beneficial in printing newsletter labels and getting them ready for mail-out. The order by zip code is just not enough to make the newsletter mail-out time efficient. Currently we are using our old software to do our newsletter labels because it has that capability; however, it does require ...

Track "Forms" entered by Staff/Volunteer "logged on" 7/3/2006 3:06:26 PM   (Total replies: 2)
In order to assist in the training of our staff, it would be helpful to have a report that would "pull-up" the forms entered by the Staff/Volunteer logged onto eKyros. We have 4 staff members who enter data for all the volunteers so using the Staff/Volunteer who "saw" the client would not be helpful. We would need something that would correspond to the person "logged on."

Dear Sarah, Yes, we would use the feature to track the accuracy of our 4 data entry staff. It would help our "stats" person to be able to give relevant feedback to the data entry staff members who are making the same errors over and over again. Thus, our "stats" person wouldn't have to work so hard to find the errors. I appreciate your consideration of such a feature. The only other use of such a feature is to be able to track who are our best and worse "data entry" people. Melinda ...
