Re: New Case? 1/9/2011 11:33:00 AM   (Total replies: 1)
I was trolling for another question and I found this and wanted to respond. The way I've been doing it is if the second preg test is negative, I close that case (#2) and continue entering EWYL visits on case 1. Is there a problem with this? I suspect not since the number of cases is the same. It makes more sense for me this way since the visits (after the negative test) DO come from the first case. If the second case is positive, yes, I do add all subesquent visits to case 2. My new ...

Re: Counselor drop down 11/6/2010 10:34:35 AM   (Total replies: 1)
I just discovered that new users to our system deleted plenty of our inactive advocates to 'clean up' the drop down window, I suspect. I really wish they had talked to me before doing that. But now that I do, I'll tell them to use it!!! I don't suppose there's anything you can do about it. Thanks for letting me vent. Another ...

tracking home and hospital visits 2/6/2009 2:19:25 PM   (Total replies: 1)
I'm working on our transition to eKyros. I'd like some advice on how to track when an advocate visits a client at home or the hospital. Does CareNet consider that a client visit? Thanks, Barb

I created 3 categories under Correspondence: Telephone call, mailing and visit. I know this does not fit the idea of correspondence, but it seemed better than using Notes since reports (statistics) can be generated using the Correspondence categories. Our board likes to track all client 'contacts' not just 'visits' that CareNet cares about. We occasionally visit the home or hospital and have even attended a baby shower. There is room in the comments section to give more information about the ...

We add just non-visit contacts under the Correspondence window. I just report the total of our categories (phone call, note, home/hospital visit) to the Board. I just checked and there is no way presently to separate out the different Correspondence categories. Nice EKyros people: Can that be added to the report sorting options in a future update??? It really would be a useful place for centers to customize their records and track things without major additions to the program. I realize ...
