I was just curious if we could have a place on the 'general' form to list previous names used (in case they get married)? Thanks! |

I hear what your are saying, but, if we add this field to the general form, we will hear from other customers complaining about the additional clutter it created. So i hope you can understand the postion we are in.
The notes are also printed in the file summary report. It's probably a good practice to have your staff print and review the summary report before they meet with clients (that's just a suggestion though.)
Worst case, is this possibly something you can handle procedurally by training your staff to reivew the notes? |

I was giving this some more though...
FYI:
You may try putting prior names in the "Keywords" field on the General form. This field is a "fee-form" field that you can be used for anything. You can also search this field from the search screen -- allowing you to search by the person's prior name. This statifies your requirement to keep the prior name on the General form and adds the ability to search.
