Previous Abortions

It would be nice to have a place to put in previous abortions, miscarriages, etc. Also, is there a way to add to her file if someone has a change of mind about aborting after her initial visit? Thanks Lori

Hi Lori,

You can add previous abortions, miscarriages etc, under the Pregnancy History tab of the client file.

In regards to your second question, we are implementing "cases" in the next update of CenterPiece where:

Client Files have ---> 1 or more Cases, and Cases have ---> 1 or more forms.

The client's abortion vulnerability will be tracked at the case level. that way, if the client changed her mind after the intital visit, for what ever reason (pregnancy test, sonogram, counseling etc...), you will just need to update the case, not 1 or more forms.

we are just starting work on the next update...so it may be a few months before it's released...but i just want to let you know it's coming!

hope that helps.

It appears that if nothing is entered for "previous abortions" they are being tallied as none on the CareNet report instead of unknown. Also the same thing seems to be happening on the "uses contraceptives" heading.

Hi CRoth,

You are correct if nothing is entered then CenterPiece treats it as "none." Thank you for your attention to detail. Don't hesitate in contacting us with any further questions, concerns, and/or feedback. Have a great weekend!

Blessings,
AshleighCool
