deleting files

We have recently ran into a problem of a file being deleted in error. Is there a way to make it harder to delete an entire client file. Having to delete the forms associated with it first? A security code that must be entered? Any ideas?

Hi SDavis,

I'm sorry to hear you lost a file. We prompt the user asking for confirmation on every delete operation in CenterPiece. The problem we face with your requrest is that If we make it harder to delete a file, we'll start receiving feedback that it is too hard to delete a file.

Probably the best way to handle this is to make sure that your users review the file (print the file summary report) before deleting any files. That way they can see all the forms and activities releated to the file.
