Donor Statements
Posted: 24 Jan 2024 01:20 PM
I was creating our annual donor statements & realized that not all the statements were sent to Word. I am missing the last 68 statements. I don't see in the "Generate Statements" how to create a partial list of statements to capture these missing ones. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks so much!

Hi PamW,

Most likely you can just re-export the batch. Complete the following steps:

1-Under Receipting, Open the batch from the grid. The Batch Detail grid opens.
2-Click the Export Statements button on the left. The Export dialog opens.
3-Depending on the batch size, click the dropdown next to the 'Export To:' list. You might have a second set of statements you need to select to export. Select the 2nd set of statements.
4-Select MS Word from the Export To: list.
5-Click Go.

Let me know if that works. Exporting a large amount of statements breaks MS Word. So we divide the statements up into multiple export batches so MS Word can handle it.

Hope that helps.

Thank you for your quick reply. I feel a little sheepish, because when I went to re-export the statements I found that you could chose reports 1-250 or 251-400. That's what I needed to do. I appreciate your help!

Awesome! Great job ...and sorry if it's a little confusing. Unfortunately, MS Word crashes if we don't keep the batch sizes small e.g. 250 statements at a time. Another option is to email the statements which is a lot easier. ;)
