Merging Staff Files Posted: 16 Mar 2023 09:21 AM |
One of our staff recently discovered that she has two staff files in the Staff module. Most of her clients were assigned to one of the files. About 15 were assigned to the other. Is there a way to merge the two files? Thanks for your help!

Hi Jvanture,
I apologize for the delayed response. Currently you cannot Merge Duplicate Files in Staff, however you would want to mark the duplicate "Inactive" by editing the File, add "Duplicate" to the last name field and in the lower left corner be sure to uncheck the "Active" box and then select Save and Close. Secondly you can run the Client Follow Up Report for that record and edit and change the follow-ups from the duplicate to the correct record.
