We are noticing a problem in the Scheduler appointments - we make an appointment, link it to a client file, save it. Later, we update the client's file, with phone number, method of contact, etc. However, the appointment does not update to include the client's phone number and if they accept text messaging. This has created a problem with the reminder texts and the staff phone calls to clients.
Is there something we can do to remedy this? I don't recall this being a problem before.

Hello Abuckner,
It's great to hear from you, I hope you had a GREAT weekend! The phone number and "Client consents to text reminders" pulls down from the file at the time you link it, it is not an open-ended conversation between the file and appointment form. If you update the phone number or consent preference after the link has happened it will not automatically update the appointment form.

This is really unfortunate. We are a busy center and are not able to update each appointment multiple times. Additionally, not all of our logins have access to the client file data.
Has is always been this way? We just started noticing this issue last week and this week which seems very odd to me.
I humbly request that the communication line between the appointment and the client file be regular so that the most current information is listed in the appointment for reminder texts and calls.

Yes, it has always processed in this way. It is referencing the general file at the time you link to the client file however it does not post back and call for information constantly as it is a different form. I can add this to the feature request list to be considered however I am unsure if this is possible.
