formatting batch receipt letters Posted: 12 Mar 2019 07:14 AM |
Hello,
I am trying to figure out how to edit our batch receipt letters so that the donor's mailing address can be lowered three more lines so that it properly lines up in our envelope window. Can you offer assistance?
Thank you,
Maria |

Good morning optionsnj,
Thank you for your post!
Our letters are formatted to fit #9 double window envelopes. Please try those and they will work nicely. Should you have any other questions on this, please feel free to contact your Account Manager directly at (469) 293-3079.
Thank you again for posting and have a fabulous day!

Hi optionsnj,
The top portion of the statement is preformatted for a standard #9 double window envelope, However, once you export your statements to MSWord you can set "Custom Margins" and just adjust your top margin only to increase the distance from the top. You might have to print a couple tests of page 1 until you get it to fit perfect for your specific envelope. This will allow you to use up the stock of what you have.
We did recently remove some spacing (two lines or a "carriage return") before the start of an insert letter. If you are trying to achieve the same fold line as before you can add a single carriage return to the start of any insert to the receipt statement to get the old fold position.
If you need any help with adjusting the margin in MSWord you can give your designated account manager a call and we are happy to help. Have a beautiful rest of your day!
