abstinence section of ekyros

Hi Friends,

I do need a little more information on how to use the abstinence section of the case file. the training video and the pdf does not go into this situation in the detail needed.
It asks if the client made a commitment or not. we track if we presented abstinence to a client. Can you clairfy the exact steps and questions we should ask?

Hi CindyR,
Thanks for writing in! The abstinence question is the last question on the case form. Once entered there, you may pull a report on how many of your clients chose abstinence by going to Client Reports and clicking on report under Pregnancy Support named "Client Case Statistics" and selecting your first demographic of Abstinence status. This will show you how many selected Abstinence and how many did not.
I hope you find that helpful. Please feel free to call in if you have further questions for your Account Manager.
Have a blessed day!

Hi CindyR,
It's great to hear from you! Just to add to Dolores's point you can track if the client made a decision/committment to abstinence due to your center sharing information with her about Abstinence. While you would track the fact you shared Abstinence (or any other topic of conversation covered) via the Concepts Shared Form, the question on the Case form is meant to track if the client made a decision to move forward in her life as abstinent. I would encourage you to reach out to centers around you in regards to resources or approaches they take in starting that conversation.

Have a GREAT day!

Blessings,
Ashleigh
