Changing Staff Listed when Making an Appointment Posted: 01 Feb 2018 09:12 AM |
How do I edit the list of Staff/Volunteers when I am in Scheduler and am making a new appointment? We previously have not used the scheduler, but are transitioning to using it now. There is a list of staff/volunteers listed there that is mostly outdated. How can I remove these names and add our new staff/volunteers?

Hi phcjeffcity,
How exciting that you are implementing the Scheduler! The Staff/volunteer drop down is based on those who are "Active" within Staff Management. You do not want to delete any outdated staff as it may lose history if they are tied to activity forms. Instead you want to go to Staff Management, open the record, to the left click "Edit File" and in the lower right corner uncheck "Active" and select "Save and close." This will mark the staff file as inactive and remove them from the drop down without losing any history. To add to the list you add new files in Staff Management OR click the ellipsis "..." from the Appointment form, to the right of staff/volunteer.
