Categories in Donor module

Are there any plans in the works to make categories batch entry? For instance, when we have a WALK we go into every WALKer's donor record and check the category 20XX WALKer. Then we go to the Sponsor's record and check the category 20XX WALK Sponsor.
It would be much easier for us to be able to batch enter those transactions! |

Hello again!
I love seeing your name pop up! There are no plans to auto-assign a category or batch assign a category as there is too much room for error. Based on the categories you provided you may be doing more work than necessary, if you are utilizing the Event section properly you are able to track Walkers (via groups) and Sponsors under the event section and pull reports based on that data.
How do you utilize the categories? What purpose does it serve for you?

| We like to be able to look at a Donor's record and get a complete picture of their involvement. Is there a better way to do that? |

That's a great point! So would you like to see under the activity if they are a group/sponsor in an event? That could be a great option.
