how to find out total number of donors
Posted: 15 Aug 2016 01:40 PM
Hello,

We are interested in finding out how many donors we have had since we began using ekyros. What is the best way to go by finding that out? I am only interested in the number of donor files we have created, not how much or how often they have contributed.

Could you also explain how the file id number is populated?

Many thanks,
Maria

Hi Maria,
It's great to hear from you! You can find the total number of donor records you have in your database by clicking on the Administration tab within CenterPiece and looking at the database usage graph, this will provide how many client, donor, and staff files you have. Or you can run the Donor Files Report within donor management leaving all filters left at the default to get a list of all.

File ID's are generated by the system in sequential order anytime you create a new client, donor, or staff record within your database. Your record count is based on the number of records in your system, not the last file ID added.

Please let us know if you have any other questions! Have a GREAT day!

Blessings,
Ashleigh

Hi Maria,

I know Ashleigh responded to your questions already, I just wanted to also add that you can also view the total record count per module (Client, Donor, and Staff) within the file tab (filing cabinet) where you search for the record you are looking for. The total running file count for each module is located down on the bottom left corner.

Have a great rest of your day and thanks for reaching out in the forum.
