Donor Files and Online Giving Connector

I love the Online Giving Connector and how it makes it easier to manage our annual Walk for Life.

There are a few things that would be helpful when handling the donors:

1) A either a check box or default to hold mail would be good since not all Walk donors want to be on our mailing list.
2) We have two locations and therefore we actually put on 2 walks simultaneously. A dropdown box selecting which location they originate from would be nice.
3) Sometimes the donors are existing donors with new information. Is there a way to copy it over easily?

Thanks for all you do!
Michaela

Hi Michaela,
Thank you for your ideas, we love hearing how we can improve CenterPiece to make it easier for our centers! I have addressed your questions below, let us know if you have any other questions or feedback.

1) We strive to default to "unknown" versus "known" on data entry so we do not auto check any values and instead provide the option for you to check those that apply. Give me a call and we can talk through this a bit more.

2) My suggestion would be to sort by the event and work in Location A and then Location B, the data is entered based on the location in the upper right corner by the "Logoff" button. If you sort by location you can work on posting all of Location A and then switch your location in the upper right corner and then work on posting all of Location B. This will alleviate unnecessary clicks as well as streamlined posting.

3) Yes, absolutely! If you click "Edit" in the middle column for the matched donor file the fields become editable. You can then copy/paste the data. A helpful hint on your Windows keyboard "Ctrl+C" is copy and "Ctrl+V" is paste

Blessings,
Ashleigh
