Clone/Copy Existing Appts in Scheduler

Scenario: A client calls to reschedule her appointment. The staff member goes to the Scheduler, marks her old appointment as "Rescheduled," and creates a new appointment at the new time.
Problem: We have to copy/paste appointment information from the old appointment to the new one. The old subject field has to be copied/pasted to the new subject field. The same goes for the comment fields. That requires switching between the two appointment windows at least once, which can be time-consuming for non-tech-savvy staff.
Suggested Resolution: Allow centers to duplicate/clone client appointments from one timeslot to another in the Scheduler. All the staff would have to do is select the date and time of the new appointment. |
