limited access to PAR client files Posted: 17 Mar 2015 01:39 PM |
Is there a way to create files that have limited access due to the sensitive nature of Post Abortive Recovery clients and their cases? |

Re: limited access to PAR client files Posted: 17 Mar 2015 01:58 PM |
Hi lisa1703,
Right now we just restrict access by module, so there isn't any additional restriction within the client file as far as viewing information. How would you want this to work if we were to add something of this nature in a future update? Would it be an additional role within Client Management that allowed you to view this information, or would you prefer a separate section for these files?
Thanks in advance for your additional feedback,

Re: limited access to PAR client files Posted: 17 Mar 2015 03:47 PM |
Presently, all client information can be accessed by anyone in our office who signs into eKyros. Every staff or volunteer member who enrolls in the PAR class must have an additional client file opened in order for us to accurately report class enrollment and attendance. Even if individuals don't look through clients' case activities, client names appear on the roster for PAR group classes and in the list of clients. We desire to ensure that any staff/volunteer file that is categorized as PAR can only be accessed by assigned individuals and that this PAR category be kept separate from other client files. I.e. a staff member's name should not show up on the master list of clients. Until the program allows for this limited access, it is necessary for us to create pseudonyms for our PAR clients. Additionally, to be sensitive to the needs of clients who are not affiliated with Oasis but who desire confidentiality, we wish to keep their participation in PAR confined to limited access as well. I.e. In the File Properties of a Case File, it is clearly visible that an individual's category is PAR. I hope this gives you enough information to update the current program.
Thank you |
