I was wondering what other centers are doing with the functionality we now have in EKyros are you keeping a paper client file as well as electronic, or a combination of the two? If you are still keeping a paper record do you print everything out from EKros as well?

Hi Nurse Nelson,
From my experience, in talking with centers across the states, I work with centers who still rely on paper as well as are "mostly" paperless meaning they have the staff/volunteer complete the printed forms, put that in a pending file for data entry to complete, and then shred those papers once they are entered. Now that you have the ability to upload documents and scanned images it is ultimately up to you how "paperless" your center is. I would encourage you to talk to your affiliate (Heartbeat, NIFLA, CareNet) and get their advice as well. Have a GREAT day!

Blessings,
Ashleigh
