Permissions for deleting files

I would like to request that there be a permissions option to allow only certain people the ability to delete files. We have just come across a client file that must have been deleted. It is no longer in our records and yet this client has been coming for several months.

Hi Ccpcbanquet,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. So would you see this being an additional role under user account settings? Only those with "Director" role would be allowed to delete?

Another idea, for searching, would be to search by birthdate and/or address in the instance the name has been misspelled or there is a space before first/last. Just to confirm the file is indeed no longer in the system.

Blessings,
Ashleigh

I searched for it a number of ways. I even pulled up a report for client files that had been inactivated. It just isn't there. Is is possible for you to retrieve a deleted file?

Hi ccpcbanquet,

We can retrieve files on our end, but we charge an hourly rate for it. Often it's much quicker to re-enter the data manually.

Regards,

Amy

Ccpcbanquet,

As Amy mentioned there is an hourly rate for this service as the development team has to do a large amount of work to reference a back-up copy of your database and then isolate a single file and all activity forms. This can take in upwards of 8+ hours. Our recommendation is to manually re-enter.

Blessings,
Ashleigh
