Spiritual Assessment Posted: 27 Aug 2012 04:26 PM |
I think there needs to be more options to record spiritual progress. What I mean is that there is an option to record if someone either becomes a believer or returns to their faith, and there is a place to record if they prayed to be saved. But we cannot record that 1) they believe in God (not that they are saved) and 2) that the advocate prayed with or for the client.
I want to record the number of clients we were able to pray with; it's oftentimes baby steps.

Hi Lcozadd,
It's great to hear from you! Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. You actually do have the ability to track their if they are "Already a believer" where you track the profession/rededication as well as their current relationship with God (close, none, desire to be better, etc.). How would you like this to be integrated on this case form? What questoin and answers/options would be included?
In regards to tracking "prayed with client" where would you see this being implemented? On what form? Would this be a checkbox for each visit (case visit form) or a form itself with a date? I'm hoping to get a better understanding of how you'd like to see this integrated so I can add, in detail, to our feature request list. I appreciate you. Have a GREAT day!
Blessings,
Ashleigh |

Hi Ashleigh,
Sorry I'm so late getting back with you on this. Thanks for responding to my questions. The information is in the initial assessment under Spiritual Assessment which is good, but I think we should add the Spiritual assessment in the timeline under the final assessment too because there are clients who start out unbelievers and eventually come to know Christ. It would be nice to track that.
I believe we need to be able to understand and record just how much spiritual progress was done in the counseling room. We cannot currently do that - it's either they are saved, not saved, or just got saved. Plus, many of the clients we see will say they are believers but their lifestyes are saying something totally different... Our advocates are not comfortable making judgment calls therefore mark unknown or unsure... we hate those and cannot track them!
If the dropdown box had something that asked if they were a "practicing Christian" it would make it easier for our advocates to asses and they would not feel uncomfortable marking 'no'. Does that make sense?
As for 'prayed with client'... It clearly says ' to receive Christ.' We cannot mark yes to that because many times we pray with and for the client but they didn't pray to be saved. We would like to track the number of clients we have prayed with.
Something like...
6. Prayed for or with the Client? yes or no
Thanks for listening Ashleigh... Blessings to you!
Linda

Linda,
Thank you for the additional detail, so instead of "Already a believer" it would read "Practicing Christian" and would it be helpful to add "Prayed with client" on the Case Visit form so it could be tracked at each visit, separate from the "Date Accepted Jesus" field on the case form?
Thank you for talking through this process with me, have a great weekend!
Blessings,
Ashleigh |

Ashleigh,
That's a good thought... to be able to track prayer at each visit, not just first time. And, yes I think replacing "praciticing Christian" for "already a believer" would make our tracking process a lot more clear to volunteers.
So, what is the process used in order to get this to happen? Just asking so I can know what to tell my volunteers.
Thanks so much!

Hi Linda,
It's great to hear from you, I hope you enjoyed your 3 day weekend. We value all feedback provided by our centers. Once feedback is provided it is detailed and provided to the development team. From there before each release we review feedback and based upon usability (across all centers), functionality, and popularity it is implemented.
If you have any additional questions please don't hesitate in letting us know. have a great day!
Blessings,
Ashleigh |

Hi Joneski,
Thank you for your input on this request! What center are you with so I can detail this feedback? Another, secondary option, would be to add "Prayed with Client" under the Concepts Shared form-- you could then track, at each visit, and be able to pull via statistics. Does that make sense?
Blessings,
Ashleigh |
