Client follow-up report
Posted: 12 May 2013 04:36 PM
I hope I am not making some stupid mistake again but I tried to use the Client Follow-up report to list the status of my center followups. I can view them all on the screen for each counselor and when I try to print - it only prints the page that I am viewing at the time on the screen when there are more than one page when I scroll down.
The report view only shows page 1 of 1. The options appear that I can go to the next page or the bottom or top.
I export the report to WORD and still only see the the page that I am viewing in eKyros.
Is there a friendly way to use the report? The report description says:Print a list of files that have been marked for follow-up. I assume a list means ALL the follow-ups. I accessed the help files but did not find an answer.
HELP!

Hi Keith,

The Client Follow up report is dependent upon the date range you are pulling. If it is only displaying/showing page 1 of 1, that is all that is within the system. If there was more than one page it would show page 1 of 2? I hope this helps.

Blessings,
Ashleigh

Sorry,
I have selected proper dates to build a large list. There are 26 entries in the list as viewed while looking at the report. There are only 12 entries shown on the print preview screen.
A closer view at the print preview provides only the page starting at the 'top' of the list that will fit on a print page no matter what part of the report I am viewing on the report screen. If I scroll to the bottom of the list, the print preview still shows the report entry starting from the 'top' of the list.
From within the eKyros report screen, the print function appears to use the browser 'print' option. Then I can understand that it will only show 'one' screen as one page. The browser will not 'scroll' down to build a print file. That would have to be an app function. The app provides a window within a window requiring the user to scroll to the bottom to view all of the file.
I was wrong when I said that I see the same page viewed when I export to WORD or EXCEL, I do see the 'entire' report when exported to either. The description of the report says "print a list". Print does not work unless you export the results. I never used this report before but the function appears to have changed between releases.

When I open the Client follow-up Report, I have an option to "VIEW" a 'list' or 'report'. I have to select one of the options - then click the "VIEW REPORT" button. Nothing happens until I click the view report button. Should there be a "PRINT" button?

If I am doing something wrong, please provide detailed guidance on how to run the report.

Hi Keith,

I apologize for any confusion. As CenterPiece is not an app, but is in fact a webpage, it has always been protocol to export in order to print properly-- with all reports and statistics. I don't see this changing in the future. Same with "View Report" this is what runs the report, you will want to click "View Report" if any filters or changes are made to the measures you are running to refresh the report. Also along the top you can click the arrows left/right to scroll between pages.

I hope this helps!

Blessings,
Ashleigh

Ashleigh, thanks.
As I said in my opening statement "I hope this is not another stupid mistake". In the end, it was. I didn't think it through.
