Chrome Ver 23.0.1271.97 m - What outside help are you receiving Posted: 16 Feb 2013 02:59 PM |
While entering a Quick form, at the "what outside help are you receiving"......
Using Windows 7...
1 - open window with space or mouse click
2 - TAB to selected field
3 - space or mouse click to check selected field
4 - TAB to close window (apply) - window closes
5 - at this point, a TAB expecting to go to the next field on the form - does not happen
6 - the screen is refreshed and I am taken to the top of the screen, beginning of the Quick Form in the "Contact Information (new) " , --- it is actually. the first active field in the window or the 'Office' dropdown.
If I do not open the "what outside help are you receiving", a TAB will take me to the next field on the form in the Case Information area.
Test the same sequence using Firefox...
If I do the same sequence up to the close of the window, a TAB will take me to the beginning (date field) of the "Case Information" on the form where I can continue to TAB down the page or use the mouse to go to the next field.
Test in IE, the same sequence happens as with Chrome. So this is an error over all the browsers. It appears as if the program has lost the current field and does not know where to go - except in Firefox where it goes not so far but to the top of the immediate form. |

Hi Keith,
I'm able to reproduce that issue; thanks for noting it. Here are my steps to reproduce (for my development team):
1. Go to "New Intake (Quick Form)" under Client Management Files
2. Search "carr" in last name field
3. Select "Add intake to this File" on one of the clients that shows
4. Choose option 4 "Add intake to a new case" to add a new case
5. Scroll down and click into the keywords field
6. From here, tab through as if doing data entry with the "tab" key rather than with a mouse
7. On Case question 2 ("What outside help are you receiving?"), hit the space bar to open the list, then tab through and use spacebar to apply a few options from the list.
8. Tab all the way through the options and hit the space bar on "Apply" to apply those list items
9. On the next tab (assuming it will go to question 3), the cursor jumps up to either the top of the case form (on Firefox and Chrome) or to the Center Location at the top of the page (within Internet Explorer 9). |
