Client file numbers
Posted: 13 Feb 2013 12:15 PM
Is it possible to edit the client file numbers? We use our own to meet requirements of our organization. I enter my file number in the key words so I can always search for it, but I would like for it to show up somewhere in the reports. Is that possible?
Thanks,
G.

Hi Georgia. Currently, you are using key words just as they are intended.Smiley The client file numbers assigned by eKYROS can not be edited. The key words field is currently not able to be reflected in any report as it is a free form field (thus, there are way too many different types of information to pull from-entered by various centers).
Thanks,
Kristen

Hi again, One other thing that might work for you would be to use your own file numbers in the organization field on the file. Hope this helps.

Hi Georgia,
As Kristen said you can utilize the Organization field to put the assigned file ID to see it reflected in the Client Files Report, another option would be to put that ID number in the Spouse field also. It probably would be best to NOT check "File this record as a company" which would pull through when selecting the "file type" however you could simply put that number in the organization field and it will display in reports. Does that make sense?

Blessings,
Ashleigh
