Pledge Statement Reports
Posted: 01 Aug 2012 12:13 PM
Hi,
Previous to the changes that just happened, we would go into pledge statements and use "report" to print the statement. The report is not spaced correctly any longer - tear off is not in the right place. How do I fix this when this is not something I can get to?
Thanks,
Audrey

Hi Agriffin,
It's great to hear from you! Due to our report writer changing to provide additional functionality (insert logo and signature block, multi-select, etc.) we unfortunately are unable to edit the placement of the return payment stub. We felt this was an acceptable trade-off for all the functionality it brings to the table. Does that make sense? Looking forward to hearing from you soon, have a great day!

Blessings,
Ashleigh

I have no clue how to get the report information to come up to reconstruct a report. Can you tell me? And how can I insert the return payment stub?

Hi Audrey,

You can go to Donor Management and to your Reports section, then click on Pledge Billing Statements.

You can put in a date range, or the report will default to a month-long date range. If you click View Report, this will show you the statements that will look similar to how they've looked in the past for monthly billing.

I hope this helps!

Regards,

Amy

Hi Amy,
I guess you didn't catch the part about the payment stub now shows up in the middle of the page instead of at the bottom. If I use this means, how can I get the stub to move into place. And if I don't use this procedure, how do I get the Contribution Summary report to show on a letter?
Thanks,
Audrey

Hi Audrey,

Thanks for clarifying that for me. Previously, we were able to control the placement of the stub at the bottom of the page. With the new reporting, your report should still be displaying all of the information, but we don't have a way to get the stub to stay at the bottom of the page. If your Contribution Summary isn't displaying in report view, that is a different issue and you would want to get with your Account Manager to troubleshoot.

Essentially, all the same information should be displaying in report view as it always has, but the spacing might be somewhat different on the statement. If you insert a letter, it will move everything down like it always has. I hope this helps a bit more. We'd love to troubleshoot further with you if you are still having issues. You can call into your Account Manager's extension if you know it, or you can call the main line (469-293-3079) and leave a message on the general mailbox and someone will return your call.

Regards,

Amy

Hi Audrey,
I hope you've had a fabulous Thurday! Due to your feedback we have updated the Pledge Statement Report to move the stub to the bottom of page if NO letter is inserted. If you insert a letter it will adjust according to the size of the letter. I hope this helps, have a great day.

Blessings,
Ashleigh
