Is there a way to enter donations given during an event all together on one screen instead of entering each individual donor one at a time? I'm loving centerpiece!!SmileyStill learning how to navigate through everything. Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi eat,

Do you already have your groups and sponsors set up under the Event tab within Donor Management? You can easily enter donations or pledges for each person by entering them through the Event rather than going in and out of each donor file. All you have to do is click on the ellipsis button (the box with the three dots) next to the sponsor's name on the Sponsor page under the Event. Let me know if you are already doing this. Thanks!

Regards,

Amy

I don't...one of our supporting churches hosted a luncheon to benefit our center, so I didn't add any of the donors in as sponsors...should I do that? I was hoping by creating an event for the luncheon, it would make it easier to track what came in through it. Maybe I should do that...

Hi eat,

Yes, you can either group people who sat together into groups, or you can add one group and add all the donors underneath as sponsors. This lets you do all your data entry in one place, as you said. If you don't mind giving me your first name and center number, I'd be glad to call and walk it through with you at your convenience.

Regards,

Amy

Do i have to fill out a pledge form for everyone who donated money to the center at the luncheon in order for it to show up on the event page?

no. a pledge is a promise to give money in the future. typically on a monthly or annual basis. if you receive money directly via check/cc charge at the event, you can just enter it as a donation. hope that helps!

excellent! thanks for taking the time and reading the docs! Smiley also, not sure if you are aware, but you might check out the donor videos under Help/Online Training Center. We've produced a lot of great videos that will help you get up to speed. most of them are only 4-5 minutes long for each topic. just an fyi....thanks!
