Using scheduler for all center activity Posted: 12 Apr 2012 04:07 PM |
Is there a way to use the scheduler for everything that goes on here at the center? For example if we were looking at the 11 am time slot could we have an initial assessment, a EWYL session and a tour all scheduled at one time? Our concern is that when you mark them all as "show" that the tour will not allow this because it must be connect to a client ID. Tours obviously would not have "ID's". I don't know if I am asking this question clearly. Let me know if you have an answer or need me to clarify what I'm asking. Thanks so much.
In Christ,

Hi atiller,
Your Scheduler is generic, meaning you can schedule both client and non-client appointments through it. There is a checkbox on the appointment form which you may have utilized that says "This is a client appointment." You can uncheck this if the appointment is anything other than a client appointment. Some centers choose to create a "dummy" client file for all non-client appointments (whether it is a center tour, a class session, or a staff meeting) so that they can track all of those appointments to one file they know is a dummy file.
I hope this helps and let us know if you have any other questions.
Regards,

Hi atiller,
Yes, you can use the Scheduler for all appointments. Check-in only applies to client appointments. For all others, you don't need to perform a check-in.
For example, if you book a "staff team meeting" appointment on 4/12/2012 at 10am, on the appointment form next to "Type" be sure leave the "This is a client appointment" checkbox un-checked. That way you will still be able to get a count of client appointments in the stats (based on Appointment Type).
And again, you don't need to check-in non-client appointments.
Hope that helps! |
