care net report Q# 17
Posted: 28 Feb 2012 01:48 PM
The online video tutorial for the Care Net report states that per Care Net's request, divorced and widowed clients are put into the "single" category (I believe). There is no mention in the tutorial about "living together" or "engaged". I have 54 such clients showing up as "unknown" marital status. Help please :)
Thank you!
Laura

Hi lauraf,

Thank you for using the forums to ask this: it is a great question! On number 17 on the Care Net report,Angel Single includes single, divorced, and widowed, (B) Married includes married and separated, (C) Unknown includes clients whose marital status was either unknown or was not chosen on the case form, and (C2) Other includes all other marital status options in the list. So if you have 54 clients who are "Unknown" that tells me they did not have a marital status entered on their case form. You can drill down on the 54 to get a list of clients making up that number, and you can then click straight into their client files to view their case form and see what their marital status was set as. I hope this helps!

Regards,

Amy

OOPS! I see that they are listed as "other" not as "unknown", my mistake.
So, Care Net does not want those included in "single"?...they are, after all, NOT married. :)
Thanks,
Laura

Lauraf,

Yes, we set up the questions on the Care Net report to pull specifically how Care Net has asked us to by design. If you have questions or concerns about how that is pulled you might just give Care Net a call for clarification. Thank you for your concern and eye for detail! That is awesome!

Regards,

Amy
