Moving Sponsors from One Group to Another

My center is preparing for a banquet-style event. We would like to know if it is possible to move move sponsors from one group to another.
For example, we just learned that we have a donor who is going to have her own table, so we set her up under a group named "Table 1," but we don't know yet who is going to be sitting at her table. If those at her table buy their own tickets, we will set them up under a "dummy" table. And if these attendees say, "Oh, by the way, we're going to be with the lady at Table 1," is it possible to move them from the "dummy" table to Table 1 without having to delete those attendees from the "dummy" table and re-add them to Table 1? |

Hi Allison,
It's great to hear from you, thank you for utilizing the online forums. Currently there is not a way to "transfer" sponsors from one table to another. I will pass this along to the development team and add to our feature request list. For now you will, as you mentioned, need to delete and add under the correct group.
