tracking resources

Hi,
We applaud the upcomg changes to the appointment book. We look forward to utlizing this tool now that appointments do not have to be linked to a client file.
We have to track the number of hours per month that pregnancy tests and sonograms are available to our clients. Is there a way for the scheduler to have a report that would calculate the number of hours each were available?

Hi Sandy,
That's an interesting request. In the new scheduler...scheduling of resources is based on Timeslots. For each resource you specify the the day of week and the time of day (Timeslot) it is available (e.g. Monday at 9am, 11am and 1pm, Tuesday at 9am and 1pm, etc...). This schedule repeats each week. If you create a Resource called "Pregnancy Test" and/or "Sonogram", using the timeslot schedule for Monday and Tuesday above, we could calculate the hours for a week, month or date range (based on the default appointment duration) for each resource. Keep in mind, if you change the schedule for Monday the hours for the month would change...even for prior months. Does that make sense? |
