Training manual
Posted: 30 Aug 2010 06:57 PM
Hello, everyone. How can we get a current Ekyros manual with all of the updates? Do new Ekyros clients get one that has all of the current instructions in it?

Thanks.
Karole

Hi Karole,
The current user guide that is provided to ALL customers is located on our main webpage under the PRC Software tab. While this document is from 2006 the "Release Notes" found under your help tab work as addendums to the user guide, where it applys.

Blessings,
Ashleigh

The 2006 has the 2006 material. Have y'all not updated the main manual to include all of the changes that have happened since 2006? Are you saying that to get a current manual, I will have to download 4 years of updates, print out the new procedures and replace the ones that are no longer applicable?

Just trying to get clear with this.

Thanks.

Karole,

The concept or "how to" has relatively stayed the same with the major reconstruction happening to the client module in October 2009, which is specifically laid out in the release notes. Moving forward we will be expanding the "Help" tab to be a living, breathing manual in a sense. We always strive to provide the absolute best for our customers.

Blessings,
Ashleigh

Yes, I know you do strive to do that, and I appreciate all of your hard work. I'm not trying to be difficult. It would be so helpful to have the option of printing out a whole current client module at one time, punching holes in it and sticking the whole thing in a binder instead of going through the time-consuming process of printing out each update and replacing each separate pages of outdated information. As the only data entry person/volunteer right now at our center, I'm spending over 40 hours a month entering data as it is. Anything that can save time is a blessing for me.

Setting church in Staff Page
Posted: 22 Sep 2010 03:56 PM
I'm trying to input the church our staff attends, but when I type the name of the church in the "church" box, it does not save. I read something about having to input the church in the staff tab. Do you have to add the church as a staff person? Or what is the best way to assign a church to staff/volunteer?

Hi RLanell,
To add the "Church" that staff member is affiliated with you will need to add a new file under staff management, putting the "Church" name in the "Organization" field and checking "File this record as a company" From there you will be able to begin typing the name of the church and have it show in the drop down as an option in the "Church" field under the personal portion of the staff file. If we can be of further assistance don't hesitate in contacting us. Have a great day!

Blessings,
Ashleigh

Our clock and date on EKYROS has been off since it was installed. Please inform us of how to set the date and time for accuracy.

Hi Rlanell,
It's great to hear from you, thank you for utilizing our online forums. When you state that your clock and date have been off, what are you referring to? Where is this located? What do you mean when you state it's "off"? Thank you for providing additional details, you're appreciated.

Blessings,
Ashleigh
