Emailing from Donor List

Is there any way that we can email recpts. to our Donors from Ekyros itself. Or is this something that you are looking to do in the near future. We have quite a few donors that do not want us to send recpts. via snail mail b/c of the postage and I guess postage will be going up again!! Right now I am having to do each individually and it is very time consuming! Maybe I am doing it wrong. If you could let me know that would be WONDERFUL!!!!

Hi LouAnne,
Hope you are having a good morning. I appreciate your request, and love the idea of saving money by sending your receipts via email. Our systems is not designed at this point in time to send a donor's unique receipt to each individual donor by means of a mail merge with multiple receiptient list. Although, as you said, you can do one at a time. In the future this would be something that would be a great benefit and I will pass this along to our development team. This is on our list, but we don't have an expected release date for it yet. We are currently working on a release specific to donor management that we are finishing up.

Hi Amy,
I hope you are having a lovely week! Yes, the ability to email batch receipting is scheduled to be included in our very next release. The 'goal' as far as time frame for this release is next month (November)...and it is looking like it will be the second half of the month. Again, this is the subject to change, but it is what we anticipate. The enhancement is really in final phases of 'testing' and release notes and video tutorials are being produced. We too are excited about the many benefits this enhancement will offer all our centers! :)
