Top Donors for an Event
Posted: 29 Jul 2010 10:15 AM
Hi,
I'm trying to generate a report of donors who gave $500 or more at last year's banquet. I thought this would be pretty straightforward but I'm having some trouble.

I used the Pledge Report to get a spreadsheet of everyone who pledged $500+, which is a start, but I'm concerned someone may have given without having it entered as a pledge. The donor reports don't seem to include an event choice, and the donation reports list gifts separately, not cumulatively, so if a donor sent multiple small checks they would not be included. Going through Events (rather than Reports) didn't give me what I needed and I wonder if that is because we recently converted and our banquet took place before we used ekyros?

Any guidance on how to pull out this information would be much appreciated! Thank you!

Hi Cathy,
I apologize in the delay of getting back to you. Did your center have a data import of your information when coming on or your information is from the start date on? My concern is IF a data import was not completed then the data is not in the system to reference.

Blessings,
Ashleigh

No problem at all... I'm slow to respond back to you because I'm just here part-time. I'm not sure about data import. But, I was able to look at a report of last year's banquet gifts and manually pull out the large gifts I needed. Going forward (and as our events are entered into ekyros), is there a way to pull out top donors by event, or would you recommend doing it manually again?

Thanks for your input!

Cathy,
Currently you can run the Batch Receipts Report by date range and event, view as list, and sort by the "Total Received for Period" which will show you from least to greatest or greatest to least (depending on how many times you click the column title). Don't hesitate in contacting us for clarification or with further questions.

Blessings,
Ashleigh
