Closing Client Files

| Is it possible to close client files so the information will not show on reports? We have been closing old accounts for clients who come in for new pregnancy tests. We then gave the client a new client number. This keeps our volunteer correspondence up-dated with current clients. |

Hi Shirley,
You should never assign a client a new number. If an exisiting client comes in for a new pregnancy test, the test should be recorded under their existing file (and client number). Otherwise, you will have the client's name duplicated mutiple times in your database which is not a good solution.
In the next release of CenterPiece, we will be implementing case numbers. You will be able to assign multiple case numbers to an exsiting client file. Case numbers will also allow you to assign a status of "Open" and "Close" for tracking purposes.
