class name in Individual Education

Is there a way to delete a class name from the Individual Education page? I have tried to do this and it won't allow me to delete anything. We have changed some of our class names and our data entry people often get confused by the old class names that are still in the system. Thank You , Laura

Hi Laura,
Currently there is not a way to mark a class as "inactive" so that it no longer shows in the list. My suggestion would be to edit the class list putting a "Z" in front of everything that you no longer want used. This will put it at the bottom of the class list and be easily recognized by your data entry staff to *not* be entered.

Blessings,
Ashleigh

That will certainly help, thank you. I'm curious;Is there a reason why we can't delete items like this?

Laura,

You are unable to delete class names because of the history attached. If you have marked a client as attending or being a part of that class it will not delete because you would in turn delete client activity. Moving forward we will be providing the ability to mark a class as "inactive" so it no longer shows on the list. This will be provided in a future update.

Blessings,
Ashleigh
