Area codes for phone number

Hi Elizabeth,
Thanks for your feedback. We will add your request to the centerpiece feature request list, but it might be a while before we add this functionality. In the mean time, the information below might ease the pain of entering phone numbers with area codes.

I'm not sure if you are aware of this, but when typing phone numbers under the general tab of a file, you don't need to provide any formatting, you can just enter the numbers. When you save, the phone number will be automatically formatted.
For example:
entering 3363047567 in the home phone field will be formatted to (336) 304-7567 when you save the record.
