I received a donation for Baby Bottles that I did not put into the Event. I just did as a donation and I sent a recpt. and saved statements for that day. Now, I realize that it needs to go into the Event for our Baby Bottles for the church and I cant't delete the donation b/c of the statement being saved. Is there a way that I can do this?

Hi LouAnne, Thank you for the inquiry. You can go to 'Donor Management', 'Receipting', and 'open' the batch with the correlating date. View the individual receipt and delete it using the red x. If you choose to do this, then you must then go to the donor file of the donation and delete the the donation in error. Finally, recreate the donation with the proper event association and then select donor management, reports, select batch receipts, run date range of the day of the new donation, and the 'donor' name and rerun her donation statement and save statement. This will create a new receipt statement that is assoicated with the event. Thank you and if you need further assists please give us a call.

Hi LouAnne,
You can go through the steps Christi provided to delete and create new, you also have the option to open the donation form and attribute it to the correct event, and save and close. Saving yourself the hassle of deleting and creating new. Have a GREAT day!

Blessings,
Ashleigh
