At Risk Timeline/ Final Assessment?
Posted: 06 Jan 2010 10:39 AM
I have noticed while looking at the At Risk Timeline for several of our clients it shows the "Final Assessment" as AM or AV even though the client may have had an ultrasound and the nurse's assessment was Likely to Carry". Can you tell me why this is showing the counselors final assessment instead the actual last assessment- which would be the nurse's? Is this being generated automatically? I am concerned because many girls who changed thier minds are not showing up in our statistics as having changed their minds because the "Final assessment" is incorrect.
Thank you!

Hi Bridget,
Final assessments should be created AFTER pregnancy test and/or ultrasound has been performed. This is used as an "at last contact" view of the client. Final assessments are *NOT* automatically generated, this has to be intentionally added to their file. If a Final Assessment form is created on 1/4/10, the client then receives an ultrasound on 1/6/10. It will depend on WHAT statistic you are pulling as well as what measures you are using.

Prior to October you had the "At Last Contact" on the case form, once this changed there was a data conversion performed to bring over all information. Therefore, if the client was seen prior to October 2009, there may be some issues with the final assessment form IF your case was not updated by data entry personnel.

If you need further clarification, or have addtional questions, don't hesitate in contacting your Account Manager. Have a GREAT day!

Blessings,
Ashleigh
