Deleting Donor Categories - Error

When I try to delete a Donor Category, I get a long error in red.
I really hope this doesn't mean I can't delete a category that a donor has active. I have about 100 categories that we don't use anymore, and they need deleting, so that we can make the category function meaningful.
I'm sure all the categories have at least one donor on its list (or vice versa.)
I have a screen capture of the error, and can email it to someone if they'd like to see it.

| This just came up the other day with another customer. We are considering changing the delete behavior on category.... where the delete operation will also remove all associated donor links. That way you *will* be able to delete any category. Does that make sense? |
