Pregnancy Outcome Statistics Posted: 07 Dec 2009 12:10 PM |
I was trying to get some end of the year statistics and went to "statistics" and for the year of 2008 I clicked "outcome" in the measures slot, and it showed that we have 334 that still have no outcome set. That number is almost 1/3 of all our positive tests. When I produced a list of those that had not outcome set, a lot of them were negative tests. Why would negative tests be in the outcome set column? How can I get an accurate statistic? |

Karenv-
Previously you set the outcome fo a positive pregnancy test. This is not set at the case level instead, to prevent duplicates if multiple positive pregnancy test forms were entered. How would you like this to be fixed? Would adding a "Not Applicable" option assist you?

That would be fine or just "negative test" something to separate the negatives from those positives that have "no outcome set" Is there another place where I can get the statistics I need: Unable to contact, miscarriage, birth, aborted? I could not find a report that supplied all of those. |

Karenv-
Absolutely! Go to Client Management-Statistics-Client Case Statistics-Column 2 Measure: Outcome- Run Report. This will provide how many of each outcome exists. Always keep in mind you can drill down within your statistics (by clicking on the number) to pull up a list of those clients. Have a GREAT day!

Re: Pregnancy Outcome Statistics Posted: 07 Jan 2010 04:26 PM |
I have encountered a discrepancy with pregnancy outcome statistics.
When I run the Center Productivity report and view Pregnancy Outcomes, I see that there are 48 births recorded for 2009.
When I pull the corresponding statistic (Client Case Statistic\pregnancyoutcome) I get the number 25 for births recorded in 2009.
I'm assuming that other stats may not be lining up either...and am a bit concerned. |

Hi Munchkin,
I just pulled this report and statistic within our demo site and experienced no issues. Are you running the
---Client Case Statistic---
-Time Column: Date of Outcome
-Year Column: 2009
-Column 1: Outcome

Re: Pregnancy Outcome Statistics Posted: 07 Jan 2010 05:32 PM |
another question, though...
I tried pulling the same report with "Date outcome recorded" and my numbers are way off.
I realise they will be different to an extent, but the numbers seem really off.
Thanks for all your help! |

Munchkin,
You are correct. They especially will be "way off" with the specific time column: date outcome recorded because this option was not available until October 2009 anything before then will not be reflected unless you specific the Year column: 1900 which is the default date that is assigned to everything pre-Oct 09.
