I sent out our Donation Receipts for our Banquet, that was held two weeks ago, last week. Over the week-end, I've had donors call b/c their Year To Date Totals do not reflect their actual giving. When I run independent Donation Receipts, the total amount is correct.
The Donation Receipts' criteria selected under "Event" was "Banquet09" vs. "All", which was the only varience. We ran a speciffic "Event" b/c all of our donations in that week period (last week) were not from "Banquet", so we had 2 different letters created for receipts. I would assume that the Year To Date Totals would not vary, though.

Hi Melissa-
Below are the steps you need to follow to include your total as a whole for year to date. If you have additional questions or need further assistance. Don't hesitate in contacting us. Have a GREAT day!
1. Go to donor management
2. Go to Receipting along the left hand side
3. Go to "Create Statements" along the upper left hand side
4. Select your date range, event, etc.
5. At the bottom of the list you will see "Statement Total" check the option "Include Total
Giving Year-To-Date for Period" to reflect the total for the entire year (opposed to just the
amount of the donations for that specific event
