Walk for Life Posted: 21 Aug 2009 11:38 AM |
This will be our first year using eKyros for our Walk. When a payment comes in, how do you know who the payment is for if the donor has sponsored more than one person? |

My suggestion would be to instruct your donor's to specify the walker in the "Memo" portion of the check. From here you will need to follow-up with the specific donor and ask them.

What if they don't remember the walker's full name and what if they sponsored more than one walker. Wouldn't donor ID's solve this problem? |

CenterPiece automatically assigns a File ID number to each individual file. When clicking into the file along the upper left hand side within the brackets, for example "[143] John Doe" How would your individual donor's know another donor's number? You can implement whatever system works for you.

In another program, the pledge statement had the walkers' id's and the sponsors' id's. So it was easy to identify who was making payment for who. |
