Hi Brian,
I know we already talked about pledge reminders in the update for donor management but I want to specify what it is I am needing.
Is there a way you can have a drop down box that would allow me to specify what the pledge is for i.e walk, banquet, monthly? As I have donors pledging in all those areas.
Also for the walk aspect is there a way that you can do a letter or attach the walkers name along with the pledge reminder example:

anywhere USA

Were Tracy is the pledger but Hilda was the walker.
I hope that makes sense. As for the other pledge reminders those would need to be set for a 12 month period i.e. We always start our banquet pledges for Jan 1 and they end Dec 31 so when I send the reminder it shows the amount for each month but as they pay it down that shows on the next reminder with a total pledged at the bottom then a total donation amount so far then the balance remaining.
Hope I am not asking for the impossible :)
And will this be out before August 1? As we are set to have our walk then and I will need to continue using 3 different CPC softwares as I am now untill everything is incorparated here.

Thanks so much for the feedback. We are currently gathering everything together to hash out what the donor release will entail.

Hi Tracy and Carlye,
We are really new to Centerpiece - just going to prod this evening, so please forgive me if I am restating something or using wrong terminology.
I would like to go one step further and be able to group the donors into teams. Here is the example:
For our golf tournament, we have 4 players to a team, each raising funds separately. So I would like to be able to run a report that brings up all of the donations/pledges raised for Golf 2005 that can separate the monies into individual teams and individual golfers on that team.
When we input the donations, I would like to tie them to the player's name and the system know that it is under the golf event and that this player happens to be on team 4.
So for the event Golf 2005
we have a subcategory of Teams
and then a subcategory of players on that team - player 1, player 2, player 3, player 4 where players would be actual names of donors in our database.
I guess a similar function in the Walk For Life would be that several bible study groups or youth groups are competing to raise funds in the walk. We would need to know that all of the monies raised were for the Walk 2005 event, but that monies raise by John Smith are in the group Cornerstone Christian Church Youth. |
