Sending combination receipt and pledge reminder statements on one form Posted: 11 Aug 2009 11:45 AM |
Is this possible? It's so much more expensive and more work to send them separately, as there are often duplicates.

Chandell-
Currently we do NOT have this type of report available, however I will pass your suggestion along to our development team. Can you clarify, and give me a few examples of when this would happen? Thank you!
Blessings,

We'd like to send out a statement that shows not only what they've paid in the past month and a total for the year, but a list of all donations for the year to date, along with any pledges they've made, paid up or not, all sorted by date.
This is a very convenient way to:
A) Catch past clerical errors before it's time for End of Year receipting, and it's a scramble for tax season. ("Oh, I paid my March pledge, didn't you get it?" etc.)
B) Gently remind people that they've made a monthly pledge, please don't forget to send your donation.
C) A monthly gentle reminder that they skipped a payment earlier in the year, (See the gap where there are those zeros in May?) ...it nudges them to bring their donations current.
D) Avoid having to send a separate mailing or needing to print both receipts and pledge statements and coallating them to save on postage, resulting in volunteer hours and possible errors where donors get the wrong pledge statement along with their receipt for this month, etc.
