Brian,

While I am mostly satisfied with the new update, I have found some things that I do not like. At our center, we have several different tracks of curriculum that we have our clients complete. We used to put what track they were on under the appointment type so that the volunteer would know what curriculum to use each time the client comes in for a repeat visit. Now, with the update, the type choices are "scheduled or walk in". It just does not work with our center. It would take several steps for the volunteer to see what the client is doing now instead of knowing from the appointment book. I have elderly volunteers that are mostly computer illiterate and adding extra steps are just not an option for them.

And since we do the different tracks with our clients, we always input what they have done after each appointment under the "concepts shared" form. But is there a way that in a future update that we can have a report that shows everything they have completed from the concepts shared form?

Also, Carlye told me that with this update, I should expect to see the donor management part expanded with new features such as pledge reminders. I could not find that feature. Am I missing it or was it just not included in this update?

And, I have had several churches tell me that if I could tell them how many wipes, diapers etc, that we use, they would be willing to give me one months supply of whatever I needed if I had an average of what I would use. I can't find a way to do that report. Is it available for me to find out that information? I know how to do the boutique needs form, but I need a form that tell me what has gone out the the boutique also.

I was at a pregnancy center directors conference this past weekend and everyone I came into contact with, I told them about ekyros and how wonderful it is. I hope you get some inquires from my references. I truly appreciate this software and for the mostpart has been a blessing to this ministry. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the excellent feedback Heather! And your kind comments about eKYROS and CenterPiece. We really appreciated it!

Below are my comments to your questions:


#1. Appointment Type.

All we did is rename the two fields:

We changed Appointment Type to Appointment Category.
We Changed Appointment Schedule (walkin versus scheduled) to Appointment Type

you can continue to use the Appointment Category field as you have before. However, in the appointment book, we did remove the Category column from the list. I think this is what is causing you the problem. if it is, we can add it back to the appointment book. just let me know.


#2. Report for Concepts Shared.

You can print a summary of the concepts shared for a client. This is available in the file summary report. you acccess the file summary report on the client file.

however, this is also great feedback, we will add better reporting/statistics in a future version.


#3 Donor mgmt

We are planning a Donor management release sometime in the future. We don't have any specific dates set though.


#4. Closets/Boutiques

great feedback. we will update the closets/boutiques report to allow you to filter on needs versus received. that way you can see what you have handed out in the past.

Hi everybody,

When we add the Category column back to the appointment book, would it be Okay to remove the Type column? Or do you want to see both the Category and Type column in the appointment book? We are just trying to maximize your screen viewing area. Having both columns makes each row wrap a little. Please advise. thanks!

As long as the month report will differentiate the apointment type from walk-in from scheduled so we can see the breakdown of the appointments, it won't bother me if I can't see that on the appointment book. The main thing we need to see on the appointment book is the appointment category.
