Resource Tab Scheduling Conflicts

I recently got an appt which I scheduled in the appt book and used the resource room tab as well. The client called back 10 minutes later to change her appt time. I went to change the appt but the resource room told me there was a conflict and I had the wrong date in. So I checked all the dates I entered in both the reg. appt screen and the resource room screen changed all of them and tried to save the appt to the next time and date. It gave me the same error again.

One of my other staff memebers has run into the same problem. Any insight? Advice? Am I missing a step?

I am sorry you are experiencing difficulty with the appointment section. Please call me at 469-293-3079 ext: 103 and we can walk through this together to find a solution. I can't think of what the issue would be without walking through the steps with you.

I've figured it out!Smiley Upon further research and trying different "situations" I have duplicated the error that you are experiencing. Upon changing the date in the “resources” tab it does not AUTO update. Even if you change the “Date” field, it doesn’t refresh and change the actual day. You can do this manually by clicking the double arrow next to the date “Friday, March 27, 2009” underneath the appointment “From” and “To” fields.

Upon the client rescheduling you will follow the steps below. This will prevent you from receiving this “conflict” again. If I can be of any further assistance or you would still like to walk through this over the phone, feel free to give me a call.

To update NEW appointment time:

-Click into created appointment by selecting “Edit”

-Click "Resources" tab

-Clear previous selected resource time

-Click “Appointment” tab and change date to REVISED date

-Click “Resources” tab, this will refresh and reflect REVISED date

-Select REVISED appointment time blocks

-Select “Save and Close”

This will refresh your list and reflect the new appointment date and time.
