Male Client Tracking Posted: 25 Feb 2009 04:08 PM |
These are some statistics that we need to track for our male clients. The questions come from National Fatherhood Initative (NFI).
Ultrasound: number of male clients present at an ultra sound session.
At this time I am using the Partner support person-ultrasound as a category in the Appointment Form to track male clients attending their partners preg test or ultrasound
Total Number of male clients present at the ultrasound and chose;
Carry to term, Termination, or Undecided.
I am currently using the New Case form to track pregnancy status at last contact. I believe this will mess with my statistics. I may need to track manually?
The same goes for tracking male clients for "partner support for pregnancy testing"
The other tracking requirements are for materials given and ekyros covers that.
I would like to know your thoughts on tracking this information in ekyros.
Thank you very much for all your work. eKyros has been what it stands for, an electronic gift from God.

gina,
Thanks for the great feedback! I think it is so awesome that centers are helping men who are involved in a pregnancy sitiation. I will look into this and post a reply soon.
Bless you!

Gina,
Please give me a detailed description on how your center plans to use each stat. Do they help in grant writing? Are they required by your board? Is your Church interested? Again, the better we understand why you need the stats and how you plan to use them will help us justify and prioritize the work required to develop them in upcoming releases. Thanks! |

These stats are required in a report after receiving a grant from National Father Hood Initiative. Would you care to see the report? When I get into the office I will pull that info and get you the details you are requesting.
Thank you,
Gina

Hi Gina,
Yes, we would love to see this report! It will be very helpful for us to see exactly what stats you are needing. Do you know if many other centers report to the National Father Hood Initiative or is this something just done locally in your area?
Feel free to send the report to: sales@ekyros.com.
Thanks so much!

Sarah,
Only if a center has a grant from NFI would centers report specific statistics. I will get that paperwork to you when NFI gives me permission.
NFI has been in this field for a while the questions they ask their grant participants to track would be helpful for our board and donors, not to mention that CareNet is strongly encouraging PCC to minister to the fathers because the have a huge influence on the mother's decision.
I do not know what you would need to do on your end to add male client tracking but the area currently I am needing is to track when the male partner comes in with a female client during a preg test or ultrasound. It will drive our nurse crazy when she pulls reports and sees a male client as coming in for a preg test/ultra-sound. (I am currently using the category in the appointment form to track)

Thanks,
Gina

Thanks for this information and we do look forward to seeing that report when you are able to send it to us. I also just wanted to make sure that you are aware that you can currently breakdown all CenterPiece stats by male/female using the measure of "gender" (however, this gender measure is not available for Pregnancy Test stats or Ultrasound stats since men do not receive these services). I'm hoping that you can use many of these stats to get numbers you need for this report, but I do understand that some may be missing. We'll look forward to being able to identify what these missing stats are.
Thanks again!
