Updating the Case Form
Posted: 23 Feb 2009 01:03 PM
We're new to ekyros as of 1/1/09. When we have an update to make to the Case Form, for example, a client's commitment to abstinence changes from one visit to the next, how is that accomplished? Does ekyros have the ability to report on that change? Is the Case Form automatically updated when the Pregnancy Intentions or Spiritual Status are updated? Where would one view the previous entry to confirm when the record was updated? In the instance of Pregnancy Intentions, my guess is that we would check the Initial Visit form, the Ultrasound form, and where else?

cindyo,

Thanks for your post! Let me answer this in several parts so we can take a look at how these stats are counted.

1) The Case form is where you want to update the client's pregnancy intentions whenever there is a change. That way you can look at her file and see her current intentions.

2) The Pregnancy Test form and Sonogram form track a changed abortion view by assessing the client's pregnancy intentions both before and after your intervention.

3) There are several ways to track the changed abortion view. I would suggest looking at the Statistics page and choosing the Pregnancy Test Statistics. Then you can select differenet measures to track a changed abortion view.

For example, you may select "Pregnancy Intentions before Support" and then "Case Pregnancy Status" to see if a changed abortion view took place from the original assessment before any support and compare that with the current status.

I hope this helps. If you need additional help, let us know!

Bless you,

Tommy
