Taxable Donation?

Happy New Year. I just got off the phone with a donor and she was a bit upset because her Donation Receipt stated that here gift was a “Taxable Amount”. Of course, I ensured her that it was tax-deductible, pulled her account to double check, and all the fields seemed to be in order. As I was talking to her, I had a stack of receipts to go out and I double checked them and some of them did, indeed, state “Taxable Amount” instead of “Tax-Deductible Amount”. I printed them through Batch Receipts, as I have been for the past year; I’m not sure where I could have made an error.
I went back to the ones that did say Taxable Amount, rechecked the Print box, and they came out as Tax-Deductable amount. I'm hoping you can help, I don’t know whose might have been mailed with the same misinformation.

Hi Melissa,
We released a new update Monday morning 1/5. The update had a typo in the batch receipt report. Instead of "Tax-deductible" amount, it had "Taxable" amount. We released a fix ASAP once we were alerted of the issue. The release was posted Monday evening, however, it appears you may have run some receipts on that day. I'm truely sorry for any inconvenience this has caused. |

You can check out the notes for the January update under Help/Release Notes in CenterPiece. Again, we are truly, truly sorry for the typo!
