logout time

It would be nice if we could choose how long we want eKyros to wait before it automatically signs us out. Its possible that you already have this feature, and I am just unable to find it. If so, please let me know how. Thanks!

Sandyc,

The system is set to log you out after an hour of inactivity. We have actually just recently tested this and it seems to be working. How long would you like it to be?

Hi Sandy,

For security purposes, this is a global setting that applies to all users. We can't change the time on a center by center basis. Per Tommyt's comments, the timeout is set to 1 hour for your protection. This is a "sliding" window, so the hour resets each time you click on a page. It only times out when there is at least 1 hour of inactivity by the user. I hope that makes sense.

I didn't realize that the logout time was that long. We are starting to use the appointment book. I suggested to my co-workers that they leave the appointment book open on a seperate tab in explorer for easy access when making appointments. Since they aren't on eKyros as often as I am, they timed out and wanted to know if the time could be adjusted. Now that we know the timout setting, the hour should be plenty. Thank you for your help. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

God Bless,
