Date Entered Into e-Kyros Posted: 18 Nov 2008 08:50 AM |
Good morning, can you tell me of a way to create a list of those donors who have been recently entered into e-Kyros, say in the last 6 months? We want to include them in our Christmas mailing, but they have not necessarily made an actual donation, as of yet.
Thanks for your help!

Hi Melissa,
You need to run the Donor Files report and set the DateCreated filter to the date range you desire. Hope that helps. |

Hi, Brian.
When I ran this, it included donors that were not "new" in e-Kyros, nor were they new donors. Any additional suggestions as to how we can narrow this down to new contacts that might not be donors, yet?
Thanks so much!

Hi Melissa,
The system stamps each donor record with a date when it is first created. The DateCreated filter should work. The only scenario where this may be a problem is if we did a data import for you. Then all the records included in the import recieve the same date stamp. However, any records after the import that your staff manually entered will have a different date stamp. If this is the case, it may make it difficult to do 2008 mailing this way. However, going forward (next year) you shouldn't have this problem. |
