several suggestions

I would like to offer some suggestions to improve some features of ekyros. As we use it, we discover we love it more, and we also seem to always find ways of wanting it to do more! :0)1. I like that the clients in the appointment book are connected to their case files, but it would also be helpful if they didn't REQUIRE being connected to a case file. FOr instance, I would like to enter an appointment for a client who calls in, but only complete the case information when she shows up. We currently only enter the basic information required on the General and Case forms, so that the appointment can be made, but this sometimes causes confusion when volunteers enter more complete data later. We end up with duplicate cases and spend a lot of time deleting incorrect entries. AND, I would like to use the Appt book for meetings and speaking engagements, so that other volunteers and staff know I am busy and can't be scheduled with a client. Right now, I have to open a bogus case in order to do that, and that bogs down the system a bit.
2. It would be helpful to have the date of initial contact on the Client Management search results lists. It seems we are often looking for this piece of information and have to open up several pages/tabs to finally get there.
3. In the individual client file, we would like to see an additional tab, right between GENERAL and CASES, for the INITIAL VISIT form. This has much of the basic information about a client that is included on our intake sheet, but there is currently no easy way to open it up and look at that information. |
